Yep, I usually see a lot of this at spring festivals. The old Daisy Dukes I wore are innocent compared to these now. lolz

I always think that after a long,hard, sometimes seemingly never-ending winter, that when the first daffodils poke their little yellow heads above the still almost frozen ground that it is somehow a wonderful symbol of Hope and Renewal ....and THAT, to me, is really what 'spring' is really all about....

Oh, its everything Spring! When I see the buds on the trees and the bulbs pushing thru the snow and hear all the birds and the grass start to green up, I get excited.
As soon as the trail thru the mountains that I run when it gets clear of snow, I see all the babies and try never to get between a mama moose and her baby.
The first grandkid that brings me a buttercup, gets a prize. Love the promise that spring brings.

But the whole yard smelled good while they were there! I have finally planted some gardenias. That is as close as I have found in the south to the smell of lilacs.

They smell great and they are fragrant as you walk around. I love flowers that bloom all summer.
