In Texas we call them a Gavan! It looks sort of like the Gavan that Clint Eastwood wore throughout his famous "Spaghetti Westerns!" Warm..and amazingly...servicable!

Most are cute and fashion right, but there are always those ponchos that look like they came from a convent yard sale. Those you have to leave alone, on the rack, even if they are reduced to 50 cents...

I really don't know! I guess the right one would be cute, just don't think I'd ever look good in one or want to look good in one for that matter. But anyone that likes to wear them, more power too you for being able to pull that off!

You won't believe it! The US Army has Ponchos! They even Up the Anty, on ponchos to where they can't be seen from the enemy. Now ya wonder what See Threw Ponchos really look like. The FAD was in the sixties.

I always thought they should make a poncho blanket to wear inside in the winter. Full coverage front and back and able to use your arms without having to fight the blanket.

I like them I use to have one it was purple and my grandmother made it for me. In till my mother sold it in a garage sell. I would like another one that was a purple, but I would have to buy it because my grandmother is blind, so she can't make one for me again.

I love to wear them in the fall and spring. In the winter when I'm in the house. I have 1 from Spain that is almost 30 years old, 1 made from an old German pattern, one we made it out of fleece.
