Please help me on how to change my background pic* on my Asus Eee laptop?

Last time I tried to do something like that, I lost my whole page.......best to leave it alone.

I'm sorry! I have an Acer Aspire 5515 laptop. My niece's co-worker works part-time at "Best Buy," and he "loaded" the laptop for me. I was just told "don't add anything to the laptop that I have to pay for!!!!!"
I tried to play a DVD from Netflix on my laptop two weeks ago, and it wouldn't work. I can play DVDs that I "own" on here. I don't know what the difference is. I think your Notebook is probably a newer model than my laptop and has more features?
Do you have "Windows"? That's how I get the "feature" to watch my DVDs. I think I had to "add" the feature to my laptop (free!). hope this helps.

if you are using windows 7 starter, the function is disabled and the background cannot be changed. I have one like this
