You must be particularly mindful of liberal progressives like "voice-matters". He makes a point of calling conservatives "libtards" and then blocking them. He is too ignorant of law to know the foundation on which it is based, or how it works in the real world. My guess is that an undereducated person of that ilk would have to be a progressive. Terms like "stare decisis" or "jurisprudence" are totally beyond his comprehension.

He repeatedly says things like, "spoken like a true lib." and then will try to impress you with pearls of wisdom like "you are so afraid of the views of the other party you want to run and hide." But of course it is he who runs and hides.

The Idea that, we live in a society that is governed by the rule of law, is beyond his ability to learn. The Utopians are no better than the hillbillies when the topic of human nature is being discussed.

Just listen to everybody, and then you can decide whether you agree or disagree. People who serve public office, cannot be judged as either black or white, but instead shades of gray. I never voted for Ronald Reagan, but many times I will quote him, just like Richard Nixon and Barry Goldwater. People can say things sensible, and also outrageous. "Extremism in the pursuit of liberty, is no vice," but also he said "I just believe in freedom."

I agree. It's important to read both sides. I read Mother Jones just as often as I read Wall Street Journal. No issue is monolithic in nature. You won't find that happening often with extremists at either end. But I will note that extreme liberals are more likely to just read liberal views and to believe them to be universal.

I'd like to know. There are some conservative sites I rarely go to anymore because they have adopted the practice of posting a sensational headline with a nothing story.

I totally understand, I hear it from the liberals on here as well, The American Spectator, the Christian Science Monitor, The Weekly Standard, and National Review Online (NRO) are great magazine and periodicals. I use them sometimes as research resources for my university courses. They are established, accurate, and credible.

Hmmm seems to me..most all social websites have an unbalance mix...very unbalanced...meaning mostly liberals, of which I am not :)

Why dont you try reading a few newspapers on-line to chill out, start with the sports since it is a-political. I advise you check out prageruniversity.com and turn off Rush for a change.

Michael Medved is good too. I don't always agree with him, but he's very specific in his views. Dennis Miller is a hoot and I am so mad we didn't get tickets when he was here in the DFW area. His story on how he became a conservative is VERY POWERFUL. Plus he's got a nice sarcastic side to him. I would love to see him take down Maher.
