fun when i can get there. started with Woodstock and enjoyed many a concert in Central Park.. open air AMAZING... don't get there much any more ;-}

I've seen just as many gross things at indoor concerts as well. Hell I can't remember half of the shows I've been to but as far as outdoor ones the livestock shows in Florida were awesome as well as Monsters of Rock....just the number of bands you get to see is crazy! Matchbox 20 Korn Great White Dokken Metallica Van Halen Kingdom Come Living Color 7Mary3 Limp Bizkit....oh yea and Ozzfest.....the list goes on and on and on!!! :)

Some of my fondest memories were at Blossom Music Center. An outdoor stage was great till they found out money could be made by fines from crap people always do at concerts.

The last one i went to was cancelled do to a severe thunderstorm with tornado warnings .Baryy Manilow was hopeing to wait it out but after an hour and a bit the rain wouldn't let up and the lightning was really bad.He was kind enough to come back in two days to make up for the cancellation : )

Love Family Force 5's Christmas album...... Outdoor concerts are awesome as long as it isn't super cold or blazing hot or raining during them.

They are fun when you're young and drunk and generally don't give a shyt. Once you get older and make healthy choices, they are just boring and noisy. The last one we went to, we were unable to hear the music for all the loud, obnoxious drunks.

Every college I attended had free outdoor concerts. I went often because they were usually great and free too.

never been to one, only gigs i go to is by the band themselves; dnt get me wrong i'm sure they're great things to go to but the job i have un-less i get a holliday booked in advance pretty much screwed

Very dusty, hot and sweaty! Mosh pits are very fun..I fell right in the dirt..LOL..We had a outdoor festival called Cornerstone..Many Christian bands were there!
