  This is a open rather subjective thing which leaves me on the fence. On the one hand I think things like Gas tanks can be decorated. Why not? Especially in Japan where right now they can use a smiley face of two. But then somethings are beautiful because they're just plain. Beautiful because it looks right that way. I'd hate to see those things turned into a canvas for a drawing.

  what is it hurting really? Looking at those might bring a smile to someones face. Just think, if someone were wanting to jump to their death from one of those tanks... It may be just me but I think it would be harder to jump to your death from something cute.
