NEW YORK (NBC) -- Lolo Jones' journey to the Olympics hasn't been easy — but it's been easier than finding a husband!
The 29-year-old Olympic track and field star revealed on Twitter she's a virgin and further explained why in Tuesday night's interview with HBO's Real Sports .
"It's just something, a gift that I want to give to my husband," she said. "But please understand this journey has been hard. If there's virgins out there, I just want to let them know, it's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college, has been to stay a virgin before marriage."
But she's had plenty of offers!
"I've been tempted. I've had guys tell me, they're like, 'Hey you know if you have sex it will help you run faster,' " Jones joked. Her response? "If you marry me, then yeah."

If might be good laughable comedy if it were not so pathetically childish, disgusting and ironic.

As a Virgin Heterosexual, attacking her for such reason (despite never having heard of such attack) is stupid.
As a person with decent values on privacy, those that practice homophobia or judge people upon their private lives are obsessed with others lives and need a grip.
They have long since lost the approbation of THIS citizen!
Lolo: You go, girl!!!
Screw what the media says...she opted to stay healthy and focused in her career right now.
And why should she be out partying, instead? I certainly don't plan to party at college. I plan to study, read, and use the opportunity to take as many classes as possible. I plan to work on projects that will help me make leaps and bounds in the careers of my choice. I work my nose to the grindstone in school, and I barely have time to eat or do anything else.
My parents are considering putting me on birth control to help with hormones. Many other women need birth control for the same reasons, or even more serious ones. Just because I'm not going out and partying and having sex doesn't mean that I don't need birth control-- it means I don't need it as a contraceptive.
