20 2012King Obama to send $1.5 Billion in aid to Egypt

Who has named Israel their number one enemy......

By Mike Thayer

Despite the fact that the United States doesn't have $1.5 Billion to hand out.....

Despite the fact that Egypt is being run by the Muslim Brotherhood......

And never mind this handout is being done without the approval of Congress......

The Obama administration is preparing to approve the release of $1.5 Billion to Egypt.

As IF Egypt will comply with any conditions that might be placed on the money.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton can nix this deal, but according to reports she is going to waive criteria and skip Congressional approval, in the interest of national security.......

These so-called leaders in Washington need to be kicked out of office.

This has nothing to do with the Muslim Brotherhood and everything to do with corporations that have their snout in the public trough.

From the NYT: "A delay or a cut in $1.3 billion in military aid to Egypt risked breaking existing contracts with American arms manufacturers that could have shut down production lines in the middle of President Obama’s re-election campaign and involved significant financial penalties, according to officials involved in the debate.

Since the Pentagon buys weapons for foreign armed forces like Egypt’s, the cost of those penalties — which one senior official said could have reached $2 billion if all sales had been halted — would have been borne by the American taxpayer, not Egypt’s ruling generals.

This is why a Republican President won't make anything better. All of Washington politics is run by Corporate America, which makes its money by killing people (tobacco, obesity, arms deals, pollution, etc.)

Wait wait wait... so the 1.3 billion dollars is to subsidize weapons we're selling to Egypt... who hates Israel? And that's supposed to make it OK?

And NYT is being duplicitous here, the taxpayers are still bearing the burden of that money.

I can think of ONE republican who would get rid of that garbage...

Doesn't make it OK. I think it is terrible. Just doesn't have anything to do with the Muslim Brotherhood. Paul talks a good game in this area, but even he wouldn't be able to stand up to the entrenched corporate-political interests.

Ya it's funny I don't even tend to like Ron Paul, but when I hear about stuff like this it makes me reconsider my opinion of him. Competitive capitalism needs to make a resurgence, and quick. Get Government out of business, and vice-versa.

The country is BROKE because of this sort of thing ! If Obama gets another term, we will not only be broke but many will be destitute before his term expires. I suggest you make the most of what you have today because with a second term you will never have again what you are enjoying today ! We will be living under socialism and no longer have the opportunity to get ahead by hard work. Under socialism only a fool works hard as there is no reward !

I feel all forigen aid should be cut off and let work on our home problems FIRST. These forigen country's don't like us but they will take the free money. Then they kick us in the ass in return. Time to get down to business here at home, then we can worry about the forigen freeloaders. So oblama and clinton wake up and start listening to your own people here in the USA!

Do you actually want to encourage freedom or simply prefer to talk about it? If you want Egypt to think positively of the west this is a good way to start.
