Are we going to talk about real issues affecting the country?
These are serious times, and we are going to talk about if Obama or Romney picked their nose in 1st grade, or debate same sex marriage, or debate legalizing marijuana. Really? Is someone trying to NOT talk about the economy maybe?

The "Audacity of Hope" should have been gone through with a fine tooth comb in 2008.

It does, but not in a negative way. The truth is that most kids have bullied someone at one point or another. I think it says a lot for his character, that in his book, he refrences that point in his life as one of his sins for which he feels he has to atone. I can't help but notice that THIS part of the book was not included in this post. I wonder why that is.

There is no indicatiion that the student was either gay or known to be gay. It was all made up by the Washington Post.

If you read the account from Lauder's family, it's possible the incedent never even happened.
