..I think their only "plan" is to find more and better ways to transfer.the largest possible amount of wealth from the middle class to the wealthy and ultra-wealthy, to make this country into the next Mexico (remember, the worlds richest citizen comes from Mexico, a country where 20% of the population lives on less than $2.00 a day; THAT'S the dream of romney/ryan..)...

They have a "plan for a stronger middle class"? Surely, you must be joking.

Sounds like a good plan. It's too bad he won't get the chance to try it. His pick for VP pretty much ended his chances for a win.

Yes. He basically said he doesn't want moderates or independents under his ever shrinking tent. Most Republicans feel the same. That figures to be around 4 million votes. If they thought they could do it on their own, this is their chance to prove it. Good luck. This will be the first presidential election I don't vote for either a Republican or a Democrat. Both have now indicated in no uncertain terms that they don't want our votes or our input.

This guy Ken is a troll, and I have not seen him around before the last couple of days. I argued with him yesterday to no avail.

You should buy yourself new reading glasses. Ken has been on SH for four years, and he has received more than 40,000 raves.

I'll gladly congratulate Republicans if they somehow pull off a win without the moderate independent vote.

The moderate independents will vote R/R vs Hope and Change and where that has gotten us the last 3.5 years.

Moderate Independents WILL NOT vote for Obama/Biden. At least the still-employed ones.

Romney has freed me to vote for a third party candidate and send a message to the major political parties.

It is the 'apathetic' that will give away the election. Anyone is better than O'buttwad.

I agree another four years of Obama will be a disaster, but Romney basically alienated the very voters he needed to win the election. I'll be voting for a yet to be named third party candidate. Expecting independents to move to the far right is as naive as expecting us to move to the far left. We're caught in the middle by warring factions of the status quo.

I would be all about a third party candidate, if the 'movement' were large enough, but it isn't. One less vote for R&R, is one more vote for Obuttwad....

I've heard enough around here to know conservatives don't want moderates under their ever shrinking tent that Romney allowing the powers that be to choose his running mate was rthe last straw. If the conservatives on this site, and those running the Republican Party for that matter, think they can do it without us, here's there chance. I don't understand what all the bitching is about. I'm not voting for Obama and now I'm not voting for Romney either. That's 1/2 of a vote less for either one of them. It's time for those of us in the middle of this fight to send a message to both parties and Romney just made it easier. For me at least. I can't speak for anyone else.

Fun
