I love the darkness more but it is nice to see the daylight sometimes. I live in southern Finland where it is only light for about 6 hours out of the day, and that is enough for me. Helsinki is just more beautiful at night, especially when it snows.

I mean, I love day too...just not mornings. I love lots of light and have over 30 windows in my house to let in as much light as possible. But I like the dark, I like it when it's quiet, and I know everyone else is snuggled up in bed safe and sound, and I'm kind of the watch keeper of safety in the night. Then I go to bed around 2-3:00 and I know the house is only vulnerable for a few hours before the morning shift is up and running. I'm probably a bit paranoid! LOL!!

I love them both! The early morning sunrise is something to not be missed. But the evening sky is amazing with the stars and moon. I can't really pick one over the other.
