My dog is a black and white border collie/australian cattle dog. He has one short leg due to an injury from being hit by a car before we adopted him. He's a great dog, a little hyper but a very nice loving dog.
She's 14, (give or take. I'm not entirely sure as I adopted her.) She's a miniature Pinscher, weighs 10 pounds and stands about 11 inches. They look like Dobermans, but they're an older breed and not even related. I don't know much more than that. I'd never even seen one before I saw her and fell head over heels in love. :)
Oh my goodness. This is an old post. My little Luna, who is pictured above, died in early March and left a hole the size of Texas in my heart. I have adopted a new little love who is trying like mad to fill that hole. Min pins can be aggressive, like any dog, but none of mine have been. Most of them are sweet little things. Minpins are called the Kings of the toy breeds and don't they know it. They're also known as "velcro" dogs because once they get in your lap it's very hard to get them detached. lol Here's what my new pup looks like.
Beautiful.....I have a fat and sassy jack russell. I lost a precious dog two years ago and I still cry when I go by her grave (she is buried under a tree in our yard). The jack russell was suppose to be my husbands dog, as I did not want another. I think he thinks he owns me because he is my shadow and now is totally spoiled.
Yesterday a big Pit bull showed up in the yard. We live in the country and it seems dogs are dumped a lot. This pit had to have been 4 times my dogs size, and did not act aggressive at all. My dog on the underhand apparently does not know he is only about 20#. He threw down with the pit and they were going after it pretty good. My dog ended up with a bloody eye from a cut eyelid. He also had blood in his mouth, not sure if it was from the pit but I think so. I yelled and screamed and finally got them apart with a stick ( I ain't gonna get bit). Naturally yet again my dog is the worst for wear. Why he seems to want to fight to the death I have no ideal. This is about the 3rd stray he has fought. He can be friendly, but if he senses any attitude he wants to fight, especially male dogs.
It's in his genes. They were bred to kill rodents and they're about as tenacious as any animal on earth. Your little guy just doesn't care if the "rodent" is 50 pounds and four times his size. Hope he's doing okay.
this is my puppy, Duke. but your puppy is really cute.
He looks almost like this, but a little more muscular
