Good freaken God - who would pick a Nova over a Mustang? That's like a Yugo over a Beamer in my view. You had to work real hard to make a Nova classy and even harder to dork a Mustang.
Once heard this criticism from a Detroit lover: "Lexus is nothing but a ramped up Toyota." I guess Detroit lovers don't know what the Cadillac Cimarron was based on. Or the Lincoln Versailles.
Stangs are the only Ford product, other than Ford trucks that I ever owned or would consider owning.I did own a 69 Nova and several Chevelles. But I liked my 71 fastback much more.Wish I still had it!

My 71 Mustang looked good stock, even before I tricked it out.My Novas always looked like family cars when I first got them.Cost allot to make em sporty.
exactly my point---you sir are exhibit A. We bought a 1964 and 1/2 6 cylinder (170 cubic inch I believe) bone stock 3 speed Mustang with little teeny 4 bolt 13" tires and we were the coolest family on the block for a while. Bone stock Novas were not cool.
