A photo can evoke emotion....but there is something about music that speaks to your soul. I don't know about you guys but it's been my escape, my best friend, and my leaning post my whole life. I love music so much.
I actually prefer BOTH, but the Young Lady's Smile got to me and I'm a soft Heart for that.
Music and Photography go together like so many other things that it's hard to imagine things without the two going hand in hand.
I used to spend a lot more time with music than photography. and I never take pictures. but I love visual stuff and sf has given me just the thing I need to play around with and exercise some creativity. I haven't been listening to any music at all for maybe two months now. and I'm on here all the time. like all day every day. so I'm doing way more stuff with photography than with music now. it's just none of it is my photography. great music, great photography.
You can't compare the two. They aren't nearly the same at all. Photography is soo easy and it doesn't involve the intense synthesis required for music play. What a silly question. In comparison to music photography is a lazy person's art.
I love to study pictures, on the other hand I can listen to music and do something else simultaneously. It can bring a multitude of feelings, memories, and intelligences.
I voted music as it has helped me through some rough times. I used to be able to sing and was in some sort of choir since elementery school. Then i had raditation and can no longer sing. Biggest thing I miss. :-( But i also love phtography. I have had a camara since I was 6 yrs of age. (Not the same one!)
I couldn't live without either.
