I think I would be sick before I could put the fork down! Thank god I have a strict 'cake at birthday celebrations only' policy. :P

Don't blame donuts, those things are gold, now the problem is eating that first donut and losing the battle of wills to not get another one.

Oooh, those look like something I make when I want a really yummy treat! They're actually called "French Doughnuts", it was a recipe I've had since high school cooking class. They're a nutmeg muffin that you roll the whole thing in butter after they come out of the oven, then roll them in cinnamin-sugar. You don't think about the calories, you just eat them and enjoy them!

Hot blueberry muffins with butter! Mm, mm! I had a cat named Jamie who loved to eat blueberry muffins.

Actually, I got this pic from online, but I chose it because the cat eating the muffin looks so much like Jamie's brother Mouse, it's uncanny. We got the brother & sister pair as kittens, both half-Siamese, but the boy had the Siamese coloring mixed with white, like this cat in the photo, and he had turquoise blue eyes--so handsome! His sister Jamie was black & white, and her markings were in almost the same patterns as his, which made her look like a dairy cow. If you ever left a blueberry muffin within Jamie's reach, she'd eat it up in a heartbeat! Her brother Mouse, on the other hand, once ate the middle out of an unguarded birthday cake, so they both liked pastries.

what's not to like? ahh, i love cats.
