Of all of these .. the loveliest .. to me .. is that Love Story theme music ..
(but that doesn't negate that I so enjoyed the Forrest Gump Suite or May it Be .. )

Yeah, I know. Pearl Jam Ten is one of my favorite albums. I think he did solo stuff for Into the Wild if I remember right.

Braveheart Theme - James Horner

Many of them make me feel intensely. This one makes me feel all sort of ways. In love, angry, strong, weak, defiant, triumphant, defeated, tortured, proud, sad, happy, aggreessive, reserved, spirited. Exposes my soul in ways I don't realize or always comprehend. James Horner's talent is a gift.

Some of the others make me feel as strongly, but in only one or two ways.

That's the only movie that I own, but have never got around to watching. I like piano scores done well. Michael Nyman is my favorite.

Braveheart Theme - James Horner

A good theme song brings out the plot, conflict and characters of a movie. Braveheart accomplishes this for me.

This is a good question, there are so many great scores. Nino Rota's "The Godfather Love Theme" or "Gonna Fly Now" Bill Conti's composition for the movie Rocky are a couple of good classics.

My all time favorite artist from a movie is Israel "IZ" Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole. His rendition of "Over The Rainbow" and "What A Wonderful World" mix from the movie "Finding Forrester" touched my soul and made me an instant life long fan of his music.

yes very incredible voice, to be able to sing such soul touching songs and turn around 180 degrees and make you laugh your ass off or just appreciate good music...pure talent

I loved Janise Joplin, my elder siblings 60s and 70s music buffs...but Bette Midler is the face and voice I think of when it comes to JJ. Concur, she is incredible, a crazy, funny ball of pure talent.

I prefer Into the West by Annie Lennox from Return of the King, as well as Now we Are Free by Lisa Gerrard from Gladiator. Both are beautiful. From this list though, it's Braveheart.

I can see how that would work. I studied to Handel, Bach and Telemann, lute music, jazz, and instrument heavy progressive rock such as Renaissance.
