I can't choose one. I lived in the red woods just a few miles from the beach in Northern Cali. I had both and LOVE both.

Actually ..
close enough to be able to enjoy it when you want ..
but in reality .. a ways inland so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of a rural life ..
(I really do NOT like tight, tiny living spaces .. I like to have some land around me)
