This tribute to Moms was one of the best submissions I have ever seen on SodaHead. It brings to mind a "Little Rascals" episode that I will always remember about a boy who saw a dress in a store window that he wanted to buy for his mother on her birthday. The dress cost $1.98 and he felt so bad that he didn't have the money to buy it. The Gang helped him out with throwing a surprise cake party in order to raise money for the dress. The kitchen was a mess and when the father came home he spanked the boy but then the mother entered and told him to stop. She saw the box and opened it. The father felt ashamed that he didn't even remember it was his wife's birthday. The father told his son that he learned a good lesson. The mother is seen the next day walking to Church wearing the dress her son bought her. The dress was way out of style, yet, she knew her son sacrificed to buy her a nice birthday present. Some folks were laughing at her but she held her head up high, smiled, and could care less what others thought. This was her son's birthday present.

This post is certainly entitled to a blue ribbon:

My mom was a wonderful lady. I miss her and my dad everyday and I am 66 years old. I was lucky to have such wonderful parents, and I hope all of you young kids out there realize that, and be good to your parents.

My kids didnt have a full time dad either, but I was there for them and always will be. I am so proud of my children. They have grown to be hard working, compassion, and loving adults. That is all a mom can ask for.

There's not a day that I don't recognise how blessed I've been to have my sons and to have such a close and loving relationship.Having lost so many family and friends including their father it's important to tell the people in your life that they are loved-everyday.My youngest recently graduated high school ,he wrote me a letter(actual ink to paper-shocking for a teenager) that included;"I love you and could never repay you for all that you've sacrificed for me.In this child's eyes you are the most beautiful woman that's ever lived".We mother's won't be around forever so if you've a good one ,tell her.

well just be thankful obviosly you learned and are stronger for it now, at least that is my hope for you. it's an incredibly hard thing to deal with and i hope you wont ever try again because every person deserves to be here and to throw away the gift of life is an awful thing .that is not to say i havent at a few points in my life said wth am i even here for, but now i know it's important to hang on to what you believe because in the end its what makes you who you are and gives you the ability to cope with incredible odds

but that being said i wish you good fortune with everything you do :)

well don't give up on life my friend there's just so much for you to do your just 22 and life could be so great for you still and i believe it will be one day when you find your niche but indeed giving up on giving up is a good start just always try to focus on the positives i also suffer deppresion and it isnt easy "ever" but if you look around through all the crap you can see alot of sunshine so just try to keep your head up it does get better if you want it to
in the meantime if you ever want to talk or whatever just drop me a line ok :)

    take care
