Yeah it's crazy... as for fines sounds like a Bears fan spit on a Packers player and called him the "N" word and the player throw his mouth guard at him... that might get a fine or worse...
Honestly I don't think a mouth guard is a big deal if he spit on him...
It's not like 350 pound nose tackle who threw the huge snowball (bigger than he's belly) into the stands which could of hurt someone because it was packed and had ice in it.
Or the Giants RB who throw his helmet into the stands (by mistake... he was pissed and tried to throw it at the wall and it went high)
The Packers killed them self with the most Packers penalties in one game in their history (as the oldest team in the NFL)

It's ok I don't mind it, they win, and they win because they are good when they practice. To me it's all fair.
