Miles apart

what do we do when were miles apart, close together and bonded by the heart, what do we say when we finally see, each other at last, oh how happy we will be, what do we try when miles apart, do we stand by and watch as our lives begin to start, what do we look for when we have only begun to see, the future we share and how its meant to be. what can be said when we are miles apart, do we just give up and go as we part, do we continue to give into each others heart and find in ourselves that there is find that the pain is only sharp, or do we try and wait and hope to see, when were miles apart just how much we mean, as we look for the day that and pray and stand as miles apart simply over the land, and cross our fingers, that the time will come when miles apart we are still always one
