Don Gorske isn't your average hamburger enthusiast. In fact, he's a lot worse.

You see, Gorske will be eating his 25,000th Big Mac today -- and Gawker has nothing but love for him.

Congratulations are in order for Don Gorske, 57, America's saddest man, who earned his very own story in his hometown Fond du Lac (Wis.) Reporter yesterday, on the eve of his consumption of his 25,000th Big Mac sandwich.

Gorske eats about two Big Macs a day and when he's traveling, he likes to bring his favorite McDonald's hamburger with him. Sounds about right.

In-N-Out Burger is my favorite place. The ingredients are recognizable, not homogenized, and the fries are made on-site from fresh potatoes. Hard to beat.

When I was a kid we loved McDonald's. Little did I know...

Fast food (especially) burgers makes my stomach hurt. I stopped eating them about 20 years ago.

I would almost rather starve than eat at any of those places...

Use to think it a heck of a bargain, especially during corporate price wars to establish a majority market share. Then, after tasting, eating and remembering what real hamburgers are, I now typically pass the circus of mush meat mix with chemically treated veggies ensuring 2 weeks of freshness under a heat lamp..

I know it's shocking, but I've never had a Big Mac! Too much stuff on it. Yuck! I like the Quarter Pounder or I even like to buy Happy Meals! With a Happy Meal, you can get a taste of everything but not feel too bad about it. Plus, the toys rock! Here's my favorite, Prince Charming! He's done quite a bit of traveling.

I won't eat another Big Mac, once a real favorite. 100% beef includes beef unfit for human consumption that has been treated with ammonia to kill the e.coli. This treated beef is called 'filler'.......but still allows the 100% beef tag. Last I knew, ammonia was a poison.....

The Big Mac has its place amongst hamburgers. It's not my favorite, but like a Krystal (or White Castle, etc.), sometimes you just get a craving for one! I've noticed that the more "healthy" chain restaurants try to become, the less I like their foods. All this "food police" crap may be just aimed at putting more restaurants out of business, and more U.S. workers out of work, huh? The Big Brother/Nanny government needs to butt out and let Americans take their own risks! Good for Gorske. Obviously, he has had no ill effects from eating a steady diet of Big Macs, so maybe we need to rethink what the problem with obesity really is. Get off your fat *ss and stay active, and you can eat whatever you like.

I found Five Guys to be just too much freaking food, especially their fries! I'm sure big burly men who perform manual labor need a lunch like this, but the average person does not. Left over hamburgers just aren't the same as fresh made, so I won't be going back there.
