The worst dinner guest is someone who farts, burps and chews loudly at the table. Also vegans do not drink milk or eat eggs in the first place. If I had a vegan over who was gluten intolerant and allergic to nuts I'd make a salad for him/her. Having to eat different food doesn't make someone a bad guest at all.

It is when people don't inform you on those. You need to prepare for such guest. They can't help being allergic or being intolerant to certain foods. When it comes to veganism they have such strong beliefs in animal welfare and they believe it is better for your health. You could get your protein and calcium some other ways. Would you feed non kosher food to a Jew? Would you also feed pork to a Muslim? If you would that would be inconsiderate of you.

Oops, I really should have chosen "nope"--as this guest prior to 1996 would have been SECOND (or perhaps third) worst.

#1 worst would have been my paternal grandmum--known NOT to have had three ofthe allergies (nuts, lactose, gluten) but an extreme pain due to insistence of only using "native" (presumably to India--and even in this matter, botanically wrong to extremes) vegetables (excluded carrots, beetroots, cauliflower, ...) and also no onions/garlic (meaning two obvious flavourings unworkable).

they all suck..if they dont leave within 15 min after eating dinner then they are just trying to mooch more out of you and if they just nit pick at the menu and you hang around then your the fool...order a drink or 4 and leave them with the bill

they do normally, it's vegans that don't eat fish, but you're right, my sister doesn't, which is why she sticks to the potatoes that accompany the salmon, all I can say is that the fruit salad for dessert if the highlight of the meal:)

nop. Im vegan. Vegans don't consume animals, anything that comes from animals or that is tested on animals.

Vegetarians don't eat animals. And fish are animals. People who just don't eat land animals are still omnivores.

Some vegan at my dinner table who's allergic to nuts and eggs, and is intolerant of gluten and milk products would get beans, broccoli, carrots, other veggies,and (blech) even tofu dishes.

Worst one I could think of would be a bulemic person.

I'm a vegetarian. Was at an amusement park awhile back with a family friend who is gluten intolerant and my little cousin who can't eat a lot of soft or gooey foods. I remember joking to my friend that it would be "fun" if the 3 of us all went to a restaurant together.

Someone having a combination of so many food requirements sounds like their life must be a hassle.

That would suck. They'd have to be okay with going home hungry. lol My aunt who visited for Thanksgiving is gluten intolerant, so she didn't eat the rolls, stuffing, or pie crust. We made the gravy with corn starch instead of flour.
