You!

Who doesn't love a good cupcake? But we can only image the sadness that overcomes you when all that yummy frosting is gone within the first few bites and all you're left with is... well... basically, a muffin. It's not fun. But apparently, it can be prevented.

Evidently, we've been eating cupcakes wrong our entire lives! In its article "23 Reasons Why May Is Going to Be the Best Month Ever," Buzzfeed lists the below photos as the No. 1 reason why the month of May will be so awesome. Because now we know how to properly eat a cupcake! What the heck took so long, America?! Now that we know, we don't think we can ever go back to the humdrum way of traditional cupcake eating. Do you think this is how a cupcake should really be eaten?

Gobble up the cake part, then slowly savor the icing.

Not for me, I like my cake "muffin" as a nice savory chaser after I eat all the frosting first. But then again this is perhaps a twice a year event for me, I'd rather eat a good grass fed steak.

It's a wonderful idea ... however it does seem like it would be a bit messy to tear it in half like that and keep the frosting intact so a knife would be necessary and sometimes one just isn't available when a cupcake is offered. No worries though as my mouth is big enough to open wide and bite from top to bottom so that frosting will be a part of each bite. :D

There is not a proper way of eating a cup cake. I think the idea is interesting though.

Maybe the barrier of cake solids will act as a barrier against the refined sugar icing to prevent cavities? or maybe I am having another brain fart?

regular cupcakes even without added choc or icing have comparable levels of simple carbs (sugar) as regular non egg ice cream and 2/3 the saturated fat.

I am cursed with full lips, top and bottom and a narrow mouth and always end up with a Hitler chocolate moustache.
