So I started doing the same thing to them at funerals."
My older brother got married at an early age. I spoke at his wedding saying how I would wait a lot longer before I got married. Well, I found the perfect woman and married her within a few years of my brother's wedding.
I hope I didn't offend anyone with the joke -- if we can't laugh at life and death, then we can't laugh at anything.
