That is just sad though. lol
It's very depressing.
I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but in my view the lack of vocabulary and verbalization commands little respect ... nearly makes one look ' down ' on another at times.
You can add to the list of offenses such as far too many writers can't tell the difference between the following words and their usage:
to, too, two
there, their, they're
your, you're
I, me
It drives me nuts to hear, "Oh, I like that better." No, you like that MORE -or- You like that the MOST.
To oddballs like me, when we see such poorly worded writing and word usage, we instantly equate how intelligent or educated the writer is. I don't know if the smearing of grammar and spelling is a result of lower standards in school, laziness or it's simply not taught any more.
