To this day, we still haven't come across anyone who isn't a fan of "Dexter," a unique TV show about a bloodstain-pattern-analyst-turned-serial-killer (sounds intriguing, right?) So we guess it was only a matter of time before the TV series started capitalizing on their success and producing awesome, blood-splattered products to sell to all their loyal fans. Take these coasters for example.

If you're a fan of "Dexter," blood or just plain practical jokes -- put this on top of your coffee table and watch people squirm -- you're going to want a set of these guys. Difficult to choose here, since Creepy is the new cool. Creepy has always been there, beginning with the differences between boys and girls: "girls like sugar and spice and everything nice and boys like snakes and snails and puppy dog tails." We boys also liked to poke at dead things on the road. With the exception of his homocidal urgers, Dextor embodies the creepy boy in all of us.

First, ThinkGeek is boss. Seriously.
Second, Dexter is a cool show, and if you watched it, you would understand the coasters.
They don't even qualify as creepy, unless you're about as mature as a five-year-old...

It's a show about a blood splatter analyst who's secretly a serial killer and unlike the article said, he didn't suddenly become a serial killer, he's always been one. His father taught him how to use it for good though so he only kills people who deserve it, basically bad guys.

This article got it backward, he is a blood splatter analyst BECAUSE he's a serial killer. Not *only* to cover HIS tracks better, but to be able to *hunt* for his "victims" better as well. Because, he ONLY kills murderers. Then there's the fact that his late father, who TRAINED him how NOT to get caught AND how to hunt for murderers, by the way, WAS a cop. Anyhow, these coasters are actually MEANT to look like the ONLY "trophies" he *does* take from his "victims", a drop of their blood in a microscope slide, and not just blood splatter in general. They even come in a case that looks like the one he uses for his slides in the show. Unfortunately, however, the air conditioner cover is NOT included in the set. *snickers* - Only "Dexter" fans will *get* THAT one... ;-)
