Long Distance Relationships>

Some of the long distance relationships work out it depends on both of the persons I they cheat or not as long as they talk or keep in touch their okay me & my husband had a long distance relationship

My sister married this man and he had a brother my age, but he lived in a different state, about 1,000 miles away from me. We got to talking online for a few weeks before we started talking on the phone, I know we didn't date before and then he left, it was long distance from the start. But we became the best of friends, then it became even more. Friendship turned to like, like turned to love. We dated on the phone, long distance for a year and a half. We remained strong, honest, faithful until we got to meet. Everyone told me, friends, family and strangers that it wouldn't last long and that we would never meet. When the day came a year and a half later to meet everyone said it wouldn't work out because it would be weird in person. Well, we meet and nothing was different, it was even better. Then everyone said it wouldn't work because he was leaving and after meeting we couldn't go back to long distance, well we did, it hurt but we loved each other enough to handle it. Soon enough we moved in with each other. Now 5 years later we are still happier than ever and so much in love. Not to mention getting married soon. So if you love someone enough and they love you, love conquers distance.You have to meet sometime though. It can't go on forever without the physical part of a relationship. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't though. Depending on the two people and their dedications to each other.

Very hard to maintain! Can work if tboth parties are like minded about maintaining trust in the relationship,otherwise, LOOK OUT!

It depends on the two people involved...I have had a seven year friendship with a guy in Canada...I live in California and we have never met but, we are best friends...don't know if we could ever be more than friends though...because romance at that distance can lead to feelings of jealous that we don't want to enter our already great relationship.

They suck, but if it's with the right person, it's worth it.
