Pineapple! sounds crazy, but its absolutely delicious. tried it at the Dole pineapple factory in Hawaii.

My favorite is strawberry ... but very close seconds are chocolate chip mint and peach ..... mmmmmm

I like it all. Right now I'm thinking Stracciatella, I'm in sort of a gelato mood and there's a little bakery over in Schenectady's Little Italy whose gelato borders on sublime. My favorite "local" ice cream is Mann's in Greenwich NY, about 15 miles from the Saratoga Flat Track; try the Danish Cream (or anything else). I've had absolutely marvelous frozen custard here and there, but it tends to be more miss than hit; anyone leaving a good suggestion of a frozen custard that's worth going out of one's way for somewhere in NY (yeah, that includes Buffalo) or New England, will be mentioned in my feckless and occasional prayers (hopefully the Almighty will recognize you by your SH name). My favorite national brand is Ben and Jerry's, but I'm just as likely to pick something new and interesting as B&J;'s, that's how one gains important knowledge. My favorite B&J;? Tonight it's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch, but they're all good, and anyway, if I go out, I'm going to Schenectady for FIve Guys and Stracciatella.
