They are awesome! My female boxer had three separate litters. Eight pups the first time and she accidently laid on one and smothered it. Nine the second time and TEN the last litter. Would love to hear an update on how they are coming along....

This is her second litter. The last one was 10 puppies, also. Her uterus was damaged beyond repair, so this will be her last litter. I'll bet that she will be glad. Those pictures were taken when the puppies were 4 days old. They are quite a bit larger now.

Since 1 - 1 1/2 years go into training these dogs, they have to start with excellent bloodlines that are free from hereditary defects. Still, many of the puppies will wash out during training and be sold for pets. Here is a link to the kennel where the sire came from.

Service Dogs perform a variety of tasks such as turning on lights, picking up dropped keys or opening a door. These dogs assist with daily tasks and increase independence by reducing reliance on other people. A Service Dog can pull their partner in a manual wheelchair, push buttons for elevators or automatic doors, and even assist with business transactions by transferring money, receipts, and packages.
