The colors aren't as important as the quality.

For clear, I go with gels all the way.

For color, OPI is my go-to polish/varnish.

A brand of nail polish. One of the best in the business, too. China Glaze is another one that's top notch.

Most of the good ones have stuff in them that fortify the nail - because nail polish itself, and its removers, can wreak havoc on the nail. So vitamins, hardeners, etc.. are all put into good polishes to help keep the nails healthy and strong.

Gel coatings keep the nails from chipping or breaking for over a week - they're amazing things. If you want your polish to last a few days before the first chip, get gels (well, any girl that reads this, at least, or guys who are into that sort of thing). Acrylics are hell on nails. Pure and simple.

I have an ideal ensemble which is completed by nail varnish. I saw a Chinese shop manager more or less wearing it in a shop in Salisbury. I was drooling so much I had to go down the other end of the shop to recover. She was just a complete knock out and made the other girls look like selling platers.

1. Above the knee figure hugging but stretchy dress.

2. Sheer black nylon stockings with seams if possible with suspenders.

3. High heels.

4. Semi-transparent ribbed nylon knickers (obviously this is just a wish)

5. Red varnished finger nails

6. Glossed crimson lipstick.

Film stars of the 40s and 50s wore them. Even though their dresses weren't short they still looked more sexy and glamorous than the females stars of today.
