I use a bit of ketchup on 3 or 4 french fries. I fry them for us, and they are so much better (and cheaper) than from any of the choke-and-puke places.
I only chose ketchup because my choice was not available~ here in SI< NYC ppl routinely eat FF with brown gravy ~ and sometimes melted cheese with gravy~
I usually have ketchup on fries, but sometimes when I have McDonald's fries, I'll get 'chicken sauce' instead.
Where I live, Pizza Hut has a lunch buffet I like to go to from time to time, when I go up for a plate of pizza, I also grab one of those little cups they have for marinara sauce and fill it with ranch or ceasar dressing and use it as a dipping sauce. It's good, I especially like the garlic flavor of the ceasar.
I prefer lots of pepper on my fries, and no sauce. But if I am going to use a dipping sauce, then make it something spicy like buffalo wing sauce. :)
