I have had insomnia all my life. If I can't sleep I just don't try because it will be frustrating. I just do a bunch of stuff & forget about sleeping. Sometimes it helps me get sleepy enough to catch at least a couple hours of ZZZZZs.

If you lay in bed worrying about not being able to sleep, that will just exacerbate your insomnia. Best to use the time to do something worthwhile, since our time on this earth is limited. I suggest reading. I keep a stack of books next to my bed for that purpose. The "big sleep" will come when we least expect it.

Turn on Christian radio (or perhaps the classical station) and get my Bible or a good biography out and read for a while. Many times when I wake up at strange times I ask G-d what missionary I should be praying for at the moment and pray until I fall asleep. Many times missionaries have said that they felt the prayers of people at unusual times. Remember, 2am your time zone is not 2am in Romania.

hmmmm, you're funny .. yeah... look 50 ppl just got injured and 15 dead due to one man who felt like being a selfish smart butt. I have been in tears all morning for those who experienced having to flee from bullets, crawling over dead bodies just to get out of a stupid batman movie. and in your life you find satisfication in correcting grammer.. there are way more intense things in the world going on around you. My mood is not capable of tolerating un compassionate ppl today. This world is just a sad place and how people punctuate is not what is important... LOOK at the world around you and get over your petty fettish of being a smart butt. use the other side of your brain before you correct someone elses. or are you having problems of the PFC.. I am sickend by this life and the people in it, including my self and my own attitude, really!!!! what we have to wake up to in the morning, DEATH BY MURDER, and your worried about grammer. This life doesnt last forever, facinate yourself on something you can take when you leave. something that truely means something. I may believe in God but I dont hav a lot of patience for ppl who hurt intentionaly, one of my big problems. I pray God helps me with it because it feels wrong to be so ugly inside.
