Italian or German?
I'm speaking of songs here; Art songs in particular. Each nation has songs that set some of their nations' favorite poets; and, these two nations have a large number of them. I have no favorite as I like all the songs that I post. I've performed most of them and they always seem to get a good audience response. So, Dear reader, kindly listen to a least a sample of each and tell me which of the two pleases you more today.
I love your comments and posts of your favorites also... please feel free to do that here, too. Thank you!

The Three Tenors - Nessun Dorma
We are just so blessed to live in this modern time when God has imbued us with recording - both visual and audio - to witness these things.
I learned German in school, and in college, so I recognized it. :)
Pavarotti is singing in Italian, of course. Knowing that Luciano is no longer around breaks my heart.
