A friend I used to work with for many years... we would visit each others office a few times a week for lunch or just close the door and catch up on things ... we laughed a lot about anything and everything.. we still laugh a lot now .. but its on the phone since I moved 2 yrs ago... we did have our serious moments too ... and helped each other through different things over the years ... and still have that bond of friendship...

My husband and my best friend(s). I happen to be fortunate enough to have a selection of friends who are superb people and somehow think I'm worth their time. :P They are smart, funny, independent, energetic people who inspire and push me to be my best. But in a crunch, they know me, know how I operate and which buttons to push to keep me from imploding in a tight spot. They can make me laugh on the spot, almost without fail. Even at the death of my mother, I was blessed to be surrounded by some of these people and they helped me through one of the toughest things I've ever faced to date. I count on them and do my best to never let them down when the tables are turned.

I've got a good buddy who lets me vent and then gets me back into reality with laughter. We both do it for each other, matter of fact. Laughter is what makes us feel really good, too. And it sure beats crying. Except that sometimes we laugh so hard we cry. Hah!
