Is there more proof that we(humans) came from Apes, or is there more that we came from God ?

I am not trying to convince you to believe in God that's between you and what you believe in, I was simply trying to saying Faith in God is something you feel in your heart, not between your legs. Your train of thought is in Black and white nothing in between. I can ask the question: if we all came from monkeys/apes then why haven't any of the other prime apes evolved as well, why are there still monkeys and apes?? Did they miss the train to being a human??? And if there is evolution then why haven't we evolved to something else over these thousands of years??? Where is that link between man and ape??? As you would have many question for me and my faith I would have for you and yours. But I always say to each there own.

I would have to say that the search for truth (science) is an on going project. All truth will never be known and as is the nature of investigation, new facts are always being uncovered. If you want to say that that is a flaw well, I guess, you're entitled. Science doesn't require my faith in it to make it real. I can go to any museum and see proof of what science has determined is true at this point in time.

I have no problem with death and never have. That's probably a big reason why religion, faith, God, and all that stuff is unnecessary in my life. I find nothing disturbing about returning to the earth from which I came.

And I am in 100% agreement. I am not afraid of death either I look forward to it, you look forward to returning to the earth, I look forward to returning to the Kingdom of Heaven, basically the same thing just different places. But science doesn't require your faith only proof of what it is trying to sell you.

There is not one shred of proof that we were created by the whims of an invisible God. It is a nice feel good story and people don't have to face the fact that we are intelligent, and I use that term very loosely, animals.

There is plenty of EVIDENCE and proof that evolution is a fact and true. The entire picture is not yet known. Exactly how and by which processes we humans came to be as we are today is still under investigation but is, none the less, pretty accurate.

Then there is a theory that we are the result of mating between early humans and intelligent extraterrestrials. NA nu, na, nu!

Not that I could read that but there is nothing, absolutely nothing, you can produce, that would give your anti evolution stance any validity. You have nothing but faith in the invisible to stand on.

You call that a valid argument? There are no ancestral monkeys, apes, chimps, that were there then, here now. They have all evolved into what they are today. Where are the millions of evolutionary adaptations and mutations that have occurred to get us to where we are today? Dead. Where the hell do you think?

Of course evolution is a true fact. But dig deep enough, and you will find the Hand of a Creator. Perhaps in evolution. Probably in physics. Quantum scientists are starting to think the world IS 'magic'.
