I know there is because I have been there in a near death experience. I saw no harps or golden streets but something so much better. Indescribably beautiful. Love, Light and Energy. I was told that I had to return to my body and finish some things before I could come back. I want to live a long life and accomplish as much as possible but I do not fear death. It is an instant transition to another state of being.

It depends on what you define as heaven.
If you're talking Harps Angels Gates and Golden Streets NO.
I believe however that when you die you go to a place of peace and rest until the time you are reborn.
I have been in at least one other life before.
My memories of it are as vivid and as real as the one I am in now.

Well done my friend as well as this young man who is brave and strong enough stand up and question "who am I and why do I exist here"? The fact that we are here talking and questioning our existence comes from the spirit. We will be set free again outside of these bodies and this earthly plane. The spirit is countless folds stronger than the body. The spirit will move on and return home when the body gives out ;-)

Looking forward while living in the moment and I wish the same for this young man. I hope he takes time out of the rat race and spends more time in the woods away from so many distractions and returns to his natural instincts in nature.

Exactly! I'm into the last month of a 6 month stay in the woods without any computer, TV, radio, etc. Only bird sounds, thunder, wind... I don't even hear cars this far up, though I do hear a banjo on Friday nights that is coming from somewhere in the distance across the woods. I've pulled out my guitar and played with whoever it is a couple of times. It has all been wonderful!!!

TY my Friend ~ It is awesome to be in Light body. I was so afraid at first but a calm and peaceful clarity like I've never felt came over me at the moment I knew I was dying. Dr's told me I am walking, talking medical miracle; I am grateful for the experience and to be back. All of Life is a miracle.

It's so easy to get lost, to lose track of who we are in this controlled environment of people who set rules and fences that do not exist. I hope this young man can look beyond and live without boundaries and become a free spirit again ;)

Ah, but we all have to wait until we have completely finished what we are here to do. I know why I was sent back; I haven't finished what I came here to do. Since my nde I've been writing songs from dreams and visions. And there are still many paintings to be done. I believe we choose our own circumstances before birth in order to learn. From checking out your profile, it seems you have a good start. Love is the word. :)

I hope you can too! I met my former husband when I was 19 and we were married for 18 years. Had there been children we would probably still be together but it is difficult to stay together in this day and age. However, we are still family, still friends, and still play music together. True love stories never have endings.

People change. My former mother in law couldn't stand me at first, thought nobody was good enough for her son. But we became great friends as time went on. My ex and I took our guitars into hospital and played music for her when her time came. I was so freaked out of her at first but I really love that woman! And she loved me. It just took time.

I think no way. When your gone you're out, just like before you got here. All the rest is wishful thinking, or faith as it's also called. The zombies who flew those planes into the trade centre were absolutely just as convinced they were heading straight to heaven, convinced by old books, full of contradictions. Don't waste your time thinking you can pass the guilt for previous misdeeds onto someone or something else, grow up, learn from it, improve and move on. Do the best you can while you're here, not just in the hope of a free ticket to Disneyland, but because you genuinely want to be better.
