My wife and I have things down to a science for getting things done. We split them up fairly equal but it doesn't matter one way or the other because if one doesn't catch it the other will
Not really, whoever does it best will do. I am an excellent cook, I would not want my husband to cook for me. He burnt the pot boiling water. I'll call for Chinese if I don't feel like cooking. He is superb in legal points, music, collectibles, choosing my dresses, tidying up messy drawers and bookcases. I defer to him there. Cleaning and laundry, we share.
NO. I was hoping that the racoon which broke into my house would come back and help me with the housework, but he never did!!! Ha Ha!! I live alone so I have to do all the labor myself. And I work outside the home too. It can get very exhausting.
Yeah=heavy lifting and reach high shelves=men. Taking out the garbage=men. Car maintenance=men. Yard and garden=men. Chained barefoot to the stove, washer, vacuum=women.
NOW there is! Mom had to go on strike for it to happen though! My daughter stayed home today and cleaned up the apt AND bathed the dog. Without being asked. Well trained now!
Yes, definitely. I vacuum upstairs, my husband vacuums downstairs. I do the lawn, he does the laundry, I cook, he cleans up. I clean the bathrooms, he dusts.
I do the cooking, dishes, and clean the bathroom. My wife does the laundry, and cleans the rest of the house. Then we sit down and have a drink on the deck together! Ha!
NOW GO CLEAN YOUR ROOMS......lolol
