In the wake of a series of gory incidents, the Internet has been lighting up with claims that we are in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Skeptical? Well, let’s take a look at the evidence from the last few weeks.
1) A naked man chewed off the face of a homeless guy in Miami. The attacker growled at police officers and continued eating skin even after being shot. It took four more bullets to kill him. 2) A Japanese artist removed his own genitals and served them at a restaurant to the highest bidder. 3) A Maryland man confessed to killing his housemate, chopping him up, and then eating his heart and part of his brain. 4) A New Jersey man repeatedly stabbed himself and then threw pieces of his skin and intestines at the police.
And that’s not all. Newsweek and The Daily Beast have compiled a “Zombie Instances” Google map, which is keeping track of these incidents and other “signs” of the zombie apocalypse -- such as the recent cases of flesh-eating bacteria.
Though many of the zombie apocalypse claims have been made in jest, the Centers for Disease Control issued a serious response. A spokesman told the Huffington Post, "CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead . . . or one that would present zombie-like symptoms." So, what do you think SodaHeads? Is the zombie apocalypse upon us?

If zombies were dead bodies reanimated, they would lock up because of rigor mortis. I mean, they would become unlocked eventually, but by them they would have no muscles or nerves. Anyway, they wouldn't be able to come back to life because a person CANNOT be alive without a soul, and how on Earth would we get the soul back? And if we did, that doesn't mean it would go crazy eating people.
