I guess I've finally reached that point in my life where I'm the one raising my eyebrows at the new 'trends' youth spreads these days. I keep seeing it pop up everywhere, at first I thought it was used for the ironic ridiculousness of it. You know repeating it for it's own ridiculous sake- but low and behold and more often than not, it's used with serious intent.

So topical with the ZeitGeist, likely they'll gun down the kid.
Actually see a tot ride a tricycle across a busy (narrow lanes too) bridge. Illegal to stop on one & pick the kid up, this was before cell phones, so all I could do is hope for the better.

It sounds idiotic. It is an idiotic term, most often used to justify idiotic actions. Therefore, it is 100% steeped in idiocy. I hate it with a passion.

'you only live once' is a great phrase but 'yolo' is just over used entirely, so it's become annoying as hell and an excuse for dumb people wrongdoings. it's like going up to someone and shoting them in the face and shouting 'YOLO'.... like no.
