    Sodahead has a much wider spectrum that just Dear Abby. There is a bit of this and a bit of that, and a demographic, politics, and pics. And yes, the human-interest aspect is of much importance. spectrum dear abby demographic politics pics human-interest aspect importance spinning world

    SH can serve many purposes. I appreciate the people who have a real problem and have the strength to voice it and ask for advice. I don't, however, like the teenage, "My boyfriend cheated on me.." sort of posts.

    Teenagers seem to bring all their problems on here, as if listening to random strangers give them advice on the internet is going to make everything better. But for the most part it is the same cesspool of nutjobs arguing about politics and religion that it's always been.

    Maybe at times but that is ok by me. There are lots of young SH's and if their questions are not too dumb (Like where is the worse place to get a zit. . . ) I have no problem giving my thoughts. Chances are I have been thru some of what they are wanting answers for. Then again; if it is needed advice about computers I am about as knowledgeable as the adorable old couple who are so famous on youtube now. haha; I need the advice of the young too!

    I think there are more than a few posters who use this site for advice about one thing or another. Maybe the fact that most people her don't divulge their true identities makes it easier to open up about personal problems. If they get some help from responders, it's a good thing.
