Torturing and rape, something you'd have to live with after being a victim, at least with murder a victim doesn't have to live with the immense pain but it is still up there as one of the worst. The ultimate worst is an unpunished crime
I'm say rape, molestation, or abuse. They leave a victim alive and afraid, and it sometimes leads to them killing themselves anyway. Plus there can be reasonably good excuses for murder, the person hurt a family member, ruined your life, was bullying or threatening you, ect. The others are just about power and humiliation.
Again, I'm not going to say my feelings are noble ones, but when those I love are hurt I'm inclined towards revenge. If a rapist gets raped I won't pity him, but I'd still condemn his rapist.
It's game over for the victim. The victim cannot live anymore or fulfill any dreams they had. The victim's family doesn't have them anymore and the victim is no longer alive to testify in court. In my opinion, the murder of a child is the worst of all and should automatically be first degree murder.
THIS was the worst crime.
