I would love to learn to knit, at least, I crochet instead, but same principle! My housemate at uni knits, and has done for many years...

Now I am no expert on Knitting. I have only knitted once in my life and that was a few days ago when I had knitted my hand made scarf. I have the intrucations for you if you want to know how to make your hand made scarf. What is Crochet?

I think my Gran was going to teach me at some point (It's more awkward for me since I'm a lefty!) but thanks for the offer! Crochet is another way of making things with wool, but instead of two knitting needles you have one crochet hook. Mum taught me that, and thinks it's easier than knitting (partially because you can't drop stitches like you can in knitting!)

people think of it as an older woman's hobby, but all kinds of people knit for all kinds of reasons. People knit as a hobby, to make gifts, to make money, and even for therapy.
