    It doesn't matter whether you're a man or a women. Self defense is self defense. If a women is coming after you, and or attacking you I think you should be able to defend yourself. And it's annoying how "it's so wrong" for a man to hit a women who is attacking him, a women could be just as strong and or bigger than a man. And if not they are still attacking them.

    Let's put it this way... It's NOT womanly to get violent, so if a woman ever strikes a man in any way, then she's obviously taking the role of a man, therefore giving you a right to hit back.

    It is true that women on average tend to be more fragile then men are but this new generation of women has been using this belief to bully and abuse men. No one has a right to put their hands on anyone including women. If a mans life is threatened because a woman is attacking him, the he definately has the right to fight back however a slap in the face does not count as a threat on your life guys, sorry. It's is best to just leave the situation

    If she hit him first, then all bets are off. She doesn't get the right to hit a man then claim "female!" when he hits back.

    The question is asking about "self-defense" so in other words it's about a woman physically attacking a man. Does'nt matter what gender you are if someone is outright attacking you. We all reserve the right to defend ourselves from being attacked. There's women out there that can hurt a man just as much as a man could hurt a woman. If anyone thinks i'm going to sit idly by and do nothing while someone is physically causing me great bodily harm you can bet i'm going to kick their ass man or woman......

    I do not believe gender or size is any defense for initiating violence against another person, the victim must act in some manner, sometimes that means moving away, maybe getting law enforcement involved, sometimes running away without returning violence in kind puts ones life in danger.

    Raised by a single mother, I now have the thought in me if I hit a woman in self defense I lose the hand. Honestly though its understandable to hit a woman in self defense.
