Is it wrong for a 10th grader to date an eleven year old?

I'd say no generally, but I'm going with other because I don't know all the facts. However the reason I would say no is because...

If you've met your average 11 year old, they aren't always mature and for someone who is 15 to 16 they...including the guys desire a level of maturity that would be normally be beyond the capabilities of an 11 year old. Thus it strikes me that she must be very intelligent, well spoken and mature for her age.

Provided there is nothing sexual going on, I see no harm with dating along this age span however it does strike me unusual. Dating a girl one grade younger is acceptable, both morally and socially a girl four grades younger however does raise eyebrows.

I'd say leave em at it until there's cause for concern.

Why, why would anyone even think about dating someone 4 years younger than them as a minor? Ugh, kids these days.

Regardless of the age difference, both are too young to be seriously dating anyway.
Plus, if there is anything physical involved, it is illegal.

(Later in life when the girl is over 18, that age difference will be like nothing.)

if anything sexual occurred he would be committing a very serious offence even if he was under 16 as age of consent here is 16 so to do anything sexual with a minor is treated very serious..even if you yourself are a minor..of course if both were 15 it would be taken into account but if one is very young I think it is especially if under 13 it is very serious matter then..

I expect the girl is in 6th grade...not that it matters much. Secondly, girls become mentally mature much younger than boys. Hell I know guys who's primary form of communication is Neanderthal. (Grunt grunt...ug!?) yet I know four year olds that could host a champagne party and all it's social etiquette, no problem whatsoever.

Thus guys will date younger girls because they are mentally attractive where as it won't work the other way around because usually the boys would be too immature.

When they are older it won't matter or be as weird but the maturity level now is a huge difference I don't think most kids even hit puberty till they are like 12 or 13 and she's 11...

Most girls actually start puberty at around 10 or 11, boys start a little later usually. Some girls can start puberty much earlier.

Most 9 year old girls I've met are more mentally mature than most of the guys I've met who are 18.... (personal testimony ftw!) My point is girls mature mentally and socially much faster.

Yes and I completely understand and agree to what you're saying. But I'm meaning a guy who has been through a lot and understand many things and is still in school, and they don't act like...I don't really know how to explain it... Like they go out and drink alchohol and do drugs and smoke with their friends in a secret place... or just plain dumb.

U jbiw fykk .... that failed. I know full well what you're saying and completely agree. I was one of those people. That said I'm mentally deficient in other areas instead >.> no biggie. (I.e ability to socialise, make friends and hold relationships). However the people who do go through a lot and know about surviving on their own and responsibility tend to mature a helluva lot earlier.

O.o most girls have 'boyfriends' age 7 let alone 11. They might not be serious but the beginnings of relationships are still there. (Most of the boys on the other hand really don't give a damn)

In this day and age yes. Considering he/she is four to six years older, thats not that much of a gap. For adults that is , the maturity level, level of understanding, and the level of interaction for the two at this stage of life are very different,if they were friends and by the time they both are in university/college then they started dating it would still be odd but still normal/appropriate.

The eleven year old is definitely too young to date anyone. The tenth grader is too young to drive a car usually. Sounds a little strange to me.
