Is this actually a problem in America, that girls want to try for football and don't know if they could? Over here half my school's football teams are girls' teams. Same with every sport.

No just because it's mostly boys doesn't mean a girl cant play it!! It is actually awesome that a girl has the guts to try another sport that is mostly populated by boys!

No nothing wrong with it at all when I was in high (dinosaurs roamed) there was a lot of girl player and the majority of them were really good at it

No it's not wrong. I use to play on a tackle football team with all boys. There was another girl who use to play in the same league, but different age/weight group. And When I was in High School, one of are rival schools Had a Female QB, she was the starter.

Not up until like 9th grade, after that I think with girls and boys development boys have become to large for a girl to play...even some guys are not meant to play they are just too small

No, it's not wrong if a girl to want to try for football. Girls don't get enough respect like they're suppose to, they get picked one just because of their gender, and also the media loves to criticize women, because of their gender, so that's why they fight with each other.

nah every single one of us has an ounce of tomboy in them.. Football is a rough sport, but as long as you can handle it and enjoy a healthy competition you'll be fine.. My sister may play hockey but ever since she graduated from elementary school, then moved over into collage that was her goal and the coaches really don't mind having a girl on the team. Just have fun, and try it out!

no a girl at one of my schools wanted to play on the team she tried out and she didnt make it but her parents asked y and they said cause she was a girl they said they would sew if she didnt get what she deseverd and she got put in the team as the quarter back

Nah,
I used to play rugby with the guys every now and then. Football is a rough sport but if you can handle it and enjoy a healthy competition, there's no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to try out :]

In a few places girls are playing football, I sure wouldnt want my daughter to play football, it's a tough game.
