She said no, did she not? If someone is forced to have sex against their will, it's rape. And since they're married, there's the additional charge of domestic violence.

    Even inside a marital relationship

Each should HONOR The thoughts, ideas .. expressed feelings and words of the other.
When EITHER party says NO .. that word is pretty CLEAR

STOP .. do NOT force it .. just STOP and leave them alone.

    It IS RAPE indeed ..

If the women says no, then it is countable as rape IF the man continues. Wife or not, that can cause horrible effects on the women.

Rape is rape regardless of the relationship status of the attacker (male or female) to the victim (male or female). A ring and a sheet of paper that legally states that two people are a family does not give automatic consent to sexual activity of any kind or at any time when one of the two wishes.
I like to believe that long gone are the days of thinking of women as property or objects put on this earth for the sole purpose to pleasing "men". One would think that in 2012 we would be smarter than that...but I guess that is too much to ask for

Yes. Any time someone forces himself on you sexually without your consent, this can be sexual assault or rape. Even if you’re married to or in a relationship with the person who is assaulting or raping you, it is real rape and real assault.* Relationship rape is not uncommon: at least 7.7% or women will be sexually assaulted by an intimate partner (including husband) in their lifetime.** Sexual abuse is a common form of domestic violence and one that many women are often ashamed or embarrassed to talk about. Please know that you have the right to say “no,” even to your husband, and you have the right to expect that he listen to you. If your spouse or dating partner is making sexual contact that you do not want and have not agreed to, he is sexually assaulting you. If he is forcing you to have sexual intercourse, he is raping you.

the woman has the right to say no. period. if she refuses to say anything other than no, it's time to give up that wife or out-source the sex part of the marriage.

A man does not own his wife or her body. He needs her consent for sexual contact each and every time. Usually this consent is given and is demonstrated in the form of reciprocal behaviour. If she says no, he does not have a right to force her.

Sorry, I have never had a problem with you, but this question is beyond stupid.

Rape has nothing to do with marriage and everything to do with whether the person is being forced to have sex or not. If they say no and they are forced to do it, then it is rape, regardless of whether they are married or not.
