Is it possible for couples, who are so deeply in love, to somewhat kind of know what each other is thinking?

Wellll..... My boyfriend and I just started dating on March 22 this year. This is exactly how we got together.., "Hey I just met you, and this is crazy! So heres my number. And call my baby." We are sooo freakin in love like dead serious. We do go to the same high school too. We plan to get married after high school and spend the rest of our lives together and stay together even in our afterlife. But anyways, it's like we can read each others minds and we tell ask other if we're psychic or something and sometimes Im about to ask him something but then he asks th Q I'm about to ask. It's cool but weird(?) ig. Is this normal or unusual?
I think it's possible, simply because couples get to know one another really well, so their minds become more intimate with a closer connection. You both seem to understand how each other thinks, how they see things, like their perspective.
I believe couples definitely can, but only if they're very close with one another.
