YES...in the 60's we had GI Joe...the socialists struck THAT down until he all but disappeared in the 70's....The franchise was revived in the 80's with the characters we know now...and once again the socialists went nuts and tried to get them pulled

There was an argument I read about once, something to do with a role playing game. I'm certain it was Dungeon's and Dragons, but I might be wrong.

It talked about the pivotal role in a child's life as to good and bad. Much like the old "Cop's and Robbers" pretend-along.

Can you recall how many times an argument ensued as to who was going to be the good guys? Rarely did any kid actually want to be the robber, because that meant you were not the hero that the world wanted.

But nowadays, thanks to the Liberals, we no longer allow this:

No problem. When I grew up all kids had cowboy or army type toys and when we grew up we were a lot better than the current young adults.

I'm against it, and don't do it for my kids, but IMO that's as far as it should go.

It can be an educational tool. It can teach the kids that war is OK, when it necessary to so to combat the negativity of terrorists and evil.

Yes... war has been a part of human existence, stopping them from getting war toys is a futile campaign because war toys have been around for many ages. Since the wooden toy sword, to plastic guns. Plastic Guns are pretty much the wooden toy swords of today...

Little boys always go for rifles and plastic knives. In the late 1960s researchers from the National Organization of Women condicted an experiment on toys. The little boys ended up having to bend Barbies into the shape of an acceptab;e gun to play cowboys. the "Researchers" ignorewd this nd related in theoir report that the boys were playng with the dolls appropiately. In a way they were right, but not in the way they reported..... Don't you just LOVE Liberls
