Is it more important to be truthful then to be popular on Sodahead?

If I was to say to somebody your talking crap and this is the truth there going to get all upset. I'd get upset if somebody dismissed what I thought like that. No really all I have is an opinion and if giving my opinion is going to cause trouble, I'd have a pop at a less confrontational question. Personally, but that's just in my opinion. 乂°‿^乂

I believe it's more important to be truthful than to worry about what others think. I was always taught to tell the truth.

I'm enjoy Soda head and and I'm not popular, I don't care about the faame but having good friends to talk to.

I've never been concerned with being popular. I am truthful, although my truth may not be others' truth. Some will never be able to agree with me, but that's okay.

Popularity is fleeting-online or in person. The truth remains-and it is much easier to remember.

I never felt I had to be something I'm not to be popular here. I come as I am
here and I'm popular on SH as well as IRL because I am friendly and outgoing.
My personality sells itself. I would never lie or soft soap anyone to be liked and
accepted here. My integrity is most important to me and I will never compromise that or myself to gain friendships / popularity. I want people to like me for who I am and not someone they want me to be. What good are friendships if they are pretentious ?
I don't play that game or any game. I am straight with people and I expect the same

It's important to be honest but just as important to be respectful to others as to yourself. Excuse me, but people shouldn't "show their ass" by insulting others for not agreeing with your or another person's opinion. I recently responded to a poll asking what we thought about someone who donated a vast amount of their savings to helping others. I thought is was kind but worried about the taxes that they pay on it. It's tax time in America and it's on the mind of most taxpaying Americans. Someone else did not connect the dots and thought that something was wrong with my comment...why do commentators get so emotionally invested in AN OPINION?? We all have one; get used to it. I don't know that there's very much truth in anything nowadays but there's plenty of "versions" and interpretations. Just read it and rave if you agree; if you disagree it's okay to add your two cents but it's not okay to attack people who don't agree with you.

I'm always truthful, don't know about popular… Haven't really thought about popularity on SodaHead. But I know you, like you, & think you are awesome :-)

My life is not a popularity contest..... and being truthful helps me filter out those that are not well aligned with my personal belief structure.

Truth is good. Popularity is also good. I think what it really comes down to is telling the truth and then explaining your answer in a fair and balanced way. Obviously if one was to choose an answer and then simply say the other answers are stupid they won't be very liked. Just my two cents! Believe whatcha want!

While I pretty much always tell the truth, I think sometimes a teeny lie is best in the long run. I believe most folks want to tell the truth, and believe they are doing so, it's a matter of their interpretation of the issue at hand . Popularity on SH?? In my estimation the way you get such an accolade is by posting hundreds of stupid questions, raving everything that's posted, sharing the same and putting yourself at the top of the leaderboard....

The reason we lost the last two elections is the same. For some reason they didn't go for the jugular on his past and his performance in office.
