    They don't care ...............my pets are so spoiled ,you could tell them you were going to skin them alive and put them in the crock pot, they would say "ok ,thats fine,now feed me my canned food and rub behind my ears you loony bastard!" crock pot finenow feed canned food rub ears loony bastard spoiled cat

    i dont think i lied to my pet... except when i said i'd spend more time with him while he was sick but didn't..i still blame myself for his death...

    That is just about over the edge for me, it is a dumb animal not a human, not intelligent, just a animal so it does not comprehend much from humans.I don't discuss anything with my cat. I feed it,change it's box, scratch it's head from time to time and that is it.
    Thank God I am old, society acting as if a frigging animal is like a human is beyond zero intelligence. I wish people would treat other humans better than their animals and we might have a world worth saving, as it is I give it little hope.

    My pet does not lie to me. When he whines to be let out in the middle of the night he means it. Every so often that happens.He hops off the bed goes to the hall way ,and gives one small whine. I have to take my doberman seriously. He needs to go to the Bathroom. I don't think you can lie to your pet. They read you like book.

    Pro 12; 22Lying lips are abomination : Pro 3, 32 the froward is abomination: hateful lies are abominable. A lie can be using Gods word to hurt a person because it is the popular accepted thing to do. Like people hating the Samaritans of Christs day thinking they were doing a good thing. They make Gods word into a lie. Can you think of named groups that harm no one that get that treatment?

    If it means telling your pet he is going to get a treat and then you don't give him one..guess that is pretty much lying, and that is not good for you or your pet. He needs to trust you, and that doesn't instil trust. Anything else other than that, I don't they give it a thought.

    We lie without meaning to when we tell them things like, "I'll be back in a minute." In dog time, we're probably gone what seems like days to them. No wonder my pup is frantic when I return home.

    It's all in the tone of voice one uses and the pet doesn't have the slightest idea what you're talking about anyway. Ket words, fine, sentences, no.

    Look at them, smile, and in a happy voice say "Did you know that you're the ugliest thing I've ever seen and I only feed you because it's required by law"?

    Instant gratification.
